Isn’t it fun to see how the other half lives?  I hosted an open house for a home in Springfield last weekend that, no joke, had a closet bigger than my bedroom.  I love looking through the luxury listings (a girl can dream, right?) so I thought I’d share with you the five most expensive homes in Fairfax and Loudoun County that sold within the first two weeks of 2014.

1) Fairfax Station, Virginia

  • List Price: $2,470,000
  • Close Price: $2,250,000
  • Bedrooms: 7
  • Bathrooms: 9.5
  • Fun Fact: the HOA fee is only $13 per month … say what?  Also, this home was on the market for 827 days (about two years and three months)

  • Close Price: $1,850,000

  • Fun Fact: this property is actually a townhome … now THAT is a luxury townhome!
